The Technical Sales Engineer will provide design engineering sign off to the HVAC division.

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

·        Management of the training centre and showroom

·        Contractor training for Daikin heating products

·        Internal pre-sales; autoCAD to produce designs and drawings

·        Carry out heat loss and gain calculations on properties

·        Mechanical and Electrical knowledge of heating, cooling and ventilation systems to make system selections based on the heating and cooling calculations

·        Full understanding of control systems

·        Assistance with the preparation of quotes, specifications and supporting documents

·        Liaise with Product Suppliers and Technical Support

·        Organising project information and maintaining engineering records

·        Liaise with sales team, end users and contractors

·        Commissioning on site when required

·        Product Technical Support

 The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will have:

·        A Technical Sales background in HVAC

·        Training experience of products

·        Experienced user of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

·        General Design Engineering knowledge(Mechanical and Electrical)

·        Outstanding customer facing and sales skills

This role would suit a Technical Sales Engineer who enjoys training and leading a small team.  This role is office based with travel to clients and commissioning visits.
